Basic Information
The Basic Information tab lets you configure the most crucial parts of the transaction and extend it with additional information.
Transaction Type
Choose the appropriate transaction type for your transaction.
Sale: Initiates a Sale type of transaction.
Void: Initiates a Void type of transaction. Please make sure that you have the Transaction ID of the original transaction.
Only Transactions in Pending status can be Voided.
Refund: Initiates a Refund type of transaction. Please make sure that you have the Transaction ID of the original transaction.
Only Transactions in Settled status can be Refunded.
You can also initiate a Void or Refund directly from the Transaction details page.
Processor
Choose the appropriate processor for your transaction. Your processor configurations will be displayed in the dropdown for you.
Virtual Terminal lets you initiate transactions with split-funding. Make sure to choose an advanced type of processor for split-funding.
Description
Extra field for providing information about the transaction for your Customers.
This information is also visible for your end-users.
Order ID
Extra field for providing information about the Order related to the transaction.
This information is also visible for your end-users.
PO Number
Extra field for providing information about the PO Number related to the transaction.
This information is also visible for your end-users.
Referenced Transaction ID
This field is only displayed when you select a Void or a Refund type of transaction. This is the Transaction ID of the original transaction. You can copy it from the Transaction details page of the given transaction.
You can also initiate a Void or Refund directly from the Transaction details page.
